The creation of a single stable trigger-plate unit incorporating the safety work and both locks, with either double or single trigger mechanism, must be considered a distinct advantage over the side lock which has locks and trigger mechanism separated by the wood of the stock.
Strength had been maximised by thicker action walls, supporting joint pins and draws. We are confident that not only is this the most efficient mechanical design of over an under but also the most elegant and reliable. The unobstructed view which the shooter has of the top barrel and rib is enhanced by slender curved fences.
The strikers (firing pins) function more closely to the optimum right angle to the breech face (the lower striker retracts completely on opening, eliminating striker drag). The renowned lock efficiency, combined with the long barrel drop of the over and under, facilitates easy opening, with absolutely no creep back, therefor, reloading is faster.
PERSONALISATIONCONSTRUCTION
The barrels are of demi-block construction. The tubes are machined from black annealed steel, with a carbon content chosen specifically for barrels. Barrel dimensions, choke specifications, rib styles can all be decided on what your shooting style is and personal preference.
Traditionally finished, the over and under is ideal for all game shooting. It is fitted with double triggers or a single trigger with either a straight hand stock or our elegant Scottish pistol grip.
Each Turkish walnut stock is individually chosen by the client with recommendations from the craftsmen to ensure both pleasant aesthetics and strength.
